จบลงไปแล้วสำหรับงานประกาศผลรางวัล 2020 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards 2020) เมื่อวันที่ 6 ธันวาคม ณ เมืองพาจู ประเทศเกาหลีใต้ โดยในปีนี้จัดภายใต้คอนเซปต์ ‘NEW-TOPIA’ รูปแบบ UNTACT จัดแบบออนไลน์ถ่ายทอดสดโดยไม่มีแฟนคลับเข้าร่วม เพื่อให้ห่างไกลจากโควิด-19 ในปีนี้มีสองสาวศิลปินไทยได้รับรางวัลด้วย

โดยในปี 2020 นี้ มีศิลปินและดารามาร่วมงานและได้รางวัลกันมากมาย แต่ที่ถือว่าเป็นการสร้างประวัติศาสตร์แห่งเวทีนี้เลยก็คือหนุ่มๆ บอยแบนด์ BTS ที่ได้รางวัลแดซัง (รางวัลที่ใหญ่ที่สุดของงาน) ไปถึง 4 สาขา ซึ่งได้มา 2 ปี ซ้อนเลยทีเดียว และพวกเขายังเป็นศิลปินกลุ่มแรกทำลายสถิติครองรางวัลแดซังสาขา Artist of the Year ติดต่อกันเป็นเวลา 5 ปีซ้อน (2016-2020)
นอกจากนี้ยังมีอีก 2 ศิลปินไทยอย่างสาว อิ้งค์ วรันธร เปานิล ที่ได้รับรางวัล Best Asian Artist Thailand (ศิลปินยอดเยี่ยมเอเชีย) และ มิลลิ (MILLI) หรือ มินนี่ ดนุภา คณาธีรกุล กับรางวัล Best New Asian Artist Thailand (ศิลปินหน้าใหม่ยอดเยี่ยมเอเชีย) จากงาน 2020 MAMA ในปีนี้ด้วย
